Milos Balac is a multimedia storyteller.

Known to his friends as “Losh,” Milos is currently pursuing a master’s degree in broadcast journalism at Columbia University. Originally from Bronxville, NY, he graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in American Studies in 2011.

At Cornell, Milos served as Vice President of Slope Media Group, a student-run radio, TV and magazine organization. He co-hosted “The 12 Steps,” Slope’s most popular radio music program, and also wrote a weekly opinion column in the Cornell Daily Sun, “The Quarterlife Crisis.” Prior to coming to Columbia, Milos worked as a photography intern at the Washington Post. He has also made several short films and music videos.
